The terms and conditions set out below apply to your use of this web site and related web sites (“Site”), including the use of the information services offered on the Site.

According to the website terms, you can only use the website to purchase or subscribe legitimate solutions and services that the website offers. You are the only person responsible for your login ID and password security that we confer you to avail our services. The information stated on the website is the best and indicative in itself. We however take no guarantee for the 100% credibility of the third party information quoted over here. We do not guarantee that the Site will operate continuously or without interruption or be error free. In addition, we may also suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time without being liable for any direct or indirect loss as a result of such action.

Arrival and Departure Policy:

Check in – 12:00 Hours Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.

Check out – 11:00 Hours Late check-outs are available on request and subject to availability

ROOM RATES:

Room rates may or may not include service tax, service charge, VAT, GST and/or other charges or tax are subject to the requirements of the State or Country where the Hotel is located. These will be charged at the prevailing rates and are payable in the currency of the Hotel’s country of location.

Room rates and details are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.

RESERVATIONS AND CANELLATION:

All reservations are subject to availability. Reservations made on this site are considered conditional until a confirmation number is given to the guest to substantiate the reservations by email or fax. The hotel may, from time to time, communicate with the guests, to re-confirm the reservations and to prevent any simulated bookings.

Should the guests wish to amend any reservations, modifications may be made on the website at the earliest convenience. The Hotel will not be liable should it fail to provide its products and services due to unavailability.

In the event that the hotel, for reasons beyond its control, need to reject or change a confirmed reservation it will use all reasonable attempt to facilitate the circumstances however if no alternative is provided to the Client, the hotel will return any deposit made and considered it cancelled. This is the limit of the hotel’s liability.

The hotel reserves the right to impose a cancellation fee of per room per night in the event of a late cancellation notice or a no-show at the hotel.

Mount Serene does not guarantee acknowledgement of reservations or transactions made on this site arising from unforeseen circumstances, omissions or errors that may sometimes occur.

DAMAGE:

You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the Hotel property caused by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at the Hotel) during your stay. Hotels reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered as a result thereof. Hotels further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.

Neither us nor any of our associates, affiliates and agents would be responsible for any direct or indirect damage in the form of business loss, reputation loss and information loss which you or anyone else may suffer during the said transit. We don’t take the responsibility for the damage occurred due to the information that you provide to us contain viruses, Trojan horses and worms. We don’t prompt for any financial or transit loss occurred due to the service offered by a third party solution provider or affiliate.

BOOKINGS:

Bookings may be made online at www.mountserenecottages.com through our call centres or at any of our Marketing partner.

Full payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept payment by Online Bank transfers, UPI for booking our Hotels. The available payment options are displayed during the booking process. A payment processing fee may apply. For walk-in bookings, we also accept cash payments.

Once your booking has been successfully completed, a Booking Confirmation will be issued in respect of each room booked and sent to the email address provided in your registered account. You MUST produce your Booking Confirmation(s) upon check-in at the Hotel, together with your original valid photo identification document (NRIC, passport, driver’s licence or other identification card or document as the Hotel may require).

The ‘Guest’ named in the Booking Confirmation must be the person staying at the Hotel otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

You may check your booking status or view your Booking Confirmation(s) through the following steps:

At all times during the booking process, you will be advised to ensure accuracy of your booking details (stay dates, room types, room rates, number of guest(s), Add-Ons). We will not be responsible or liable for errors in bookings.

Bookings are accepted subject to room availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

10 Day(s) before Arrival, cancellation fee is 100% of one night of the total bookings.

05 Day(s) before Arrival, cancellation fee is 50 % of full booking amount.

Within 03 Day(s) to arrival, cancellation fee is 100 % of full booking amount.

REFUND POLICY:

When you cancel a booking and are entitled to a refund then we will instruct the refund right away. The processing will take between 2-4 weeks until the refund amount is credited to your account. The refund amount depends on numerous factors such as the hotel’s cancellation policy, time of cancellation and processing fees. For more details, see cancellation policy above.

In case a reservation that you make is not confirmed, we will not charge you anything on your payment and release the whole amount that was held on it immediately. Now after we do this, it will still take a maximum of 2-4 weeks for the bank to process this and for the money to show back in your Account.
